Indications:

Generally indicated in Femoral neck fractures with a shortened femoral neck due to bony resorption
Patients with limited femoral neck above the lesser trochanter
Displaced fracture of the neck of femur
Absence of neck
Low or distal neck fracture of femur
Osteoporotic fracture with femur neck
Fractures secondary to malignancies
Bony secondaries-Pathological facture
